Wilwood Front Red Dynalite-M Conversion, 11.03-Inch Plain Hub/Rotors for Mustang II/Pinto/Bobcat — Selected 1974–1980 Applications

Red four-piston Dynalite-M calipers work with plain-face integral hub-and-rotor units in this front conversion. The kit requires the specified Mustang II, Pinto or Bobcat disc-spindle geometry, with suitable hydraulic lines purchased separately. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems from Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Individual components must be selected for the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The kit requires the specified 1974–1978 Mustang II-type factory disc spindle used by the listed Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat applications; it is not a universal original-spindle conversion. DS-1186 includes one-piece iron hub/rotors, bearings and 1/2-20 studs, with 5 x 4.50 and 5 x 4.75-inch wheel options. Wilwood lists a +0.27-inch hub offset per side. Flexlines are separate, and the master-cylinder pushrod may need modification; verify the wheel drawing before installation.
