Wilwood Front Classic Superlite Brake Kit for Ford F1 1948–1952 and F-100 1953–1956, 11.72-Inch Hub/Rotors

This Ford truck conversion replaces the front drums with 11.72-inch hub-and-rotor assemblies and four-piston Superlite calipers. The original drum-spindle application, bearing fit and hub pattern determine suitability for the listed F1 or F-100. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977, and the manufacturer is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems alongside calipers, master cylinders, rotors, fittings, brake lines and valves. The motorsport, street-performance and specialized ranges depend on components selected to work within a complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The listed 1948–1952 Ford F1 and 1953–1956 F-100 applications require the specified OE drum spindle. Confirm bearing fit and the 5 x 5.50-inch wheel pattern before converting. The current product description and DS-1163 installation text include front hose kit 220-10509, although an earlier general notice in the same sheet says lines are not included; confirm current packing contents with Wilwood. Check the 15-inch wheel guidance against the drawing.
