Wilwood Front 15-Inch GT Rotor Conversion, Red AERO6 Calipers for Corvette C5/C6, XLR and GM Ridetech — Selected 1962–2013 Applications

The red AERO6 front calipers in this kit work with 15-inch GT-slotted rotors and aluminum hats. Installation depends on the specified Corvette-style hub, with additional conditions for the listed Ridetech spindle conversions. Wilwood Engineering designs and builds disc brake systems in Camarillo, California. Bill Wood established the company in 1977; it supplies brake rotors, calipers, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines for specialized applications, street performance and motorsport. The complete brake system determines which individual components are appropriate.

Fitment & Compatibility

C5/C6 Corvette and Cadillac XLR entries require the listed hub and brake configuration. The many classic GM applications require a Ridetech hub spindle, so an original-spindle car is not covered by its model/year alone. Hoses are separate: DS-1079 identifies 220-8176 for C5 and 220-9100 for C6, with other converted installations checked individually. Match the wheel template and correct hub registration.
