Wilwood Rear Dynalite Drag Racing Brake Kit for Ford 8.8 Special Axle Ends, 2.50-Inch Offset, Anodized Calipers and Drilled 11.44-Inch Steel Rotors

This rear drag-racing package uses drilled solid steel rotors and anodized four-piston Dynalite Internal calipers. It is intended for the specified Ford 8.8 Special housing end and vehicles up to the listed 2800-pound limit, with the rotor rings mounted to separate aluminum hats. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and their components. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form its range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Compatibility depends on choosing those parts around the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the Special housing end and 2.50-inch axle offset against DS1061. A standard Ford 8.8 designation does not establish the correct end or axle retention. Confirm full four-wheel disc-brake operation and race-wheel clearance; the kit supplies no parking brake or flexlines.
