Red AERO6 calipers and drilled-and-slotted Spec-37 rotor rings define this truck front conversion. Supplied aluminum hubs and hats fit the documented aftermarket spindle interfaces, while the existing chassis and its plumbing determine the separately required flexline connections. The kit comes from Wilwood Engineering of Camarillo, California, established in 1977 by Bill Wood. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Alongside calipers and brake rotors, its range includes master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, all requiring selection around the complete system's operating requirements.

Use the precise CPP or Ridetech spindle approval in the application data, not just the truck model or amount of lowering. Compare bearing journals, dual hub patterns and the 18-inch wheel envelope. DS1056 describes the CPP installation; verify the actual spindle-specific hardware before assembly.

The documented CPP drop-spindle references are CP30106-2 (1963–1970), CP30106-3 (1971–1972) and CP30106-4 (1973–1987). Wilwood also identifies specific Ridetech drop-spindle applications in its current compatibility listing; verify the installed part rather than assuming all dropped spindles fit. Separate front hose references are 220-7056, 220-11237 and 220-12168, with 220-7699/220-8307 among length alternatives. A parking-cable change is relevant only to a separate rear-brake conversion.
