Product details

The drilled rotor version pairs black AERO6 calipers with separate aluminum hats and wheel hubs. It is a spindle-specific conversion for the documented CPP/Ridetech truck applications, not a universal brake package for any lowered Chevrolet or GMC front suspension. For this conversion, component matching remains essential. Its manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines selected to work within a complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the actual aftermarket spindle and its approved application row. DS1056 supplies the CPP spindle references and the wheel outline; verify any Ridetech configuration with its current Wilwood application. Select the correct hub pattern and separate flexible lines for the chassis plumbing.

The documented CPP drop-spindle references are CP30106-2 (1963–1970), CP30106-3 (1971–1972) and CP30106-4 (1973–1987). Wilwood also identifies specific Ridetech drop-spindle applications in its current compatibility listing; verify the installed part rather than assuming all dropped spindles fit. Separate front hose references are 220-7056, 220-11237 and 220-12168, with 220-7699/220-8307 among length alternatives. A parking-cable change is relevant only to a separate rear-brake conversion.
