Wilwood Drilled Rear Brake Conversion for Staggered-Shock Big Ford New Style Axles, 2.50-Inch Offset, Black Four-Piston Calipers and Parking Shoes

Drilled-and-slotted rotor rings attach to aluminum parking hats in this black-caliper rear package. Its left and right brackets are arranged for staggered shocks, so caliper placement is part of the axle fit check rather than an interchangeable mounting preference. Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components since Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. From its Camarillo, California base, it supplies motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications with calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Selecting those components requires a match to the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the New Style housing flange and 2.50-inch axle offset, and verify right-rear/left-front caliper clearance. The Town Car application below requires confirmation of the actual rear-end geometry. Supply compatible hydraulic hoses and the separate parking-cable/clevis connection.

For staggered shock mounts, the right-hand caliper mounts behind the axle and the left-hand caliper ahead of it. Verify this orientation against the shock and suspension clearance.
