Wilwood Red Front Superlite Brake Conversion for Selected Ford/Edsel/Mercury Full-Size Cars, Drilled 14-Inch Spec-37 Rotors and Hub Assemblies

Red Superlite 6R calipers and drilled-and-slotted Spec-37 rotor rings define this large-diameter front kit. Aluminum hats attach the rotors to the supplied hubs, and the brake package retains the matched original drum spindles rather than providing replacement spindles. Wilwood Engineering was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components serving motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines; their individual specifications must be matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm the complete car and spindle application below. Check the bearing journals, +0.03-inch hub offset and dual wheel-pattern choice, then compare the wheel with DS1051. Hoses are separate; the correct length must allow unrestricted steering and suspension travel.

Separate front flexline references are 220-8307, 220-7699 and 220-12168; select the length and vehicle-end connection appropriate to the chassis. Listed hub offset is +0.03 inch per side.
