Wilwood Drilled Front Disc and Hub Conversion for Selected AMC Javelin/AMX/Ambassador/Rambler/Rebel/Matador/Hornet/Gremlin/Javelin AMX, Black Dynapro 6 Calipers (1969–1976)

The SRP drilled-and-slotted rotor option pairs black six-piston calipers with separate aluminum hubs in this AMC front package. Correct spindle bearing journals are essential: sharing the AMC model name or wheel pattern does not make the Bendix version interchangeable. For this conversion, component matching remains essential. Its manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines selected to work within a complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm the Kelsey-Hayes bearing sizes given in DS1036 and the original disc-spindle condition for the exact model below. The kit may fit some 15-inch wheels after a diagram check. Flexible hoses are purchased separately; the listed front line reference is not an included hose set.

The separate front flexline reference is 220-8307 (18 inches). Some 15-inch wheels may clear this kit, subject to the installation drawing; the minimum diameter is not a universal wheel-fit claim.
