Wilwood Red Dynalite-M Front Brake Kit, Drilled 11.30-Inch Rotor/Hubs, for Selected Ford Mustang/Ranchero/Falcon/Fairlane/Maverick/Torino and Mercury Cougar/Comet/Caliente/Cyclone/Montego (1963–1970)

Red powder-coated calipers clamp the drilled and slotted iron rotor/hubs in this front brake package. It supplies both sides of the specified conversion, retaining the selected factory spindle while replacing the calipers, rotor/hubs, pads, mounting parts and flexible hydraulic connections. Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components since Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. From its Camarillo, California base, it supplies motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications with calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Selecting those components requires a match to the complete system.

• Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 14 in; 355.6 mm. Verify the full wheel-clearance drawing; diameter alone does not establish barrel or spoke clearance.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm whether the retained spindle has the three-hole disc or four-hole mounting layout. DS1034 requires drilling, tapping and countersinking on the 1968–1969 three-hole disc spindle. Check the early-1970 production limits and the Shelby-specific exception in the application table.

A master-cylinder change can require modification of the existing pushrod assembly. The separate universal parking-cable note applies only if the rear brakes are also being converted; this front kit does not supply a rear parking-brake conversion.

The supplied front hose set is 220-12168. Application references also identify 220-6471 for 1965–1967 and 220-9195 for 1968-up; confirm the installed chassis connection before substituting either reference.

Where a different chassis connection or length is needed, universal flexline references are 220-7056 (14 inches), 220-7699 (16 inches) and 220-8307 (18 inches). These are alternatives to assess, not additional sets included in the kit.
