Product details
Red four-piston calipers and drilled-and-slotted 11-inch rotors identify this disc-spindle conversion. Five-lug hubs are supplied for the specified Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat applications rather than reuse of four-lug wheels. Since its founding by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering has focused on disc brake system design and manufacturing. Based in Camarillo, California, it offers calipers, rotors, brake lines, master cylinders, fittings and valves for motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations. Choose components to satisfy the requirements of the entire braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility
Check the model-year row and DS1019 hub installation. Original caliper ears need attention only if they interfere with this assembly; remove as little material as the instructions permit. Verify the wheel profile, five-lug pattern and supported wheel-pad area.
Documented model groups, subject to each year, submodel and spindle/axle qualification: Ford Mustang II, Pinto; Mercury Bobcat.
Requires the documented original disc spindle and compatible five-lug wheels. Four-lug wheels are incompatible. DS1019/DS1020 calls for limited removal of original caliper ears only where they interfere; preserve the bracket mounting holes.
Check how the wheel rests on the hub before evaluating spoke clearance. Part 300-11961 (listed in the installation parts list) is the specified 6.60-inch-diameter, 0.20-inch-thick steel spacer for overhanging wheel contact surfaces. The separate 300-10716 hub shield is recommended for stamped steel wheels without overhang and measures 6.15 inches by 0.09 inch.
Flexible brake lines are not included. Original lines are not assumed to connect to the Wilwood calipers; select the application-specific or correctly sized universal hose and matching fittings.
Kit includes 5 lug hubs. Not applicable to 4 lug vehicles.
Universal Flexline kits available: 220-7056 (14"), 220-7699 (16") or 220-8307 (18"). Choose correct length for your application.
A separately selected master cylinder may require modification of the existing pushrod assembly; it is not supplied in this brake kit.
An independently added universal parking-brake cable system may require cable or vehicle modifications. It is separate from this front service-brake kit.
