The black-caliper SRP version of this Big Ford Bronco rear kit uses drilled-and-slotted friction rings. Radial brackets locate the four-piston service calipers outside the internal parking-brake assemblies. The manufacturer, Wilwood Engineering, was established by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and builds disc brake systems with a range covering calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications require components selected for the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the axle-end geometry against DS1028, including register and 2.36-inch offset. Verify the wheel template rather than assuming all 18-inch wheels clear this larger rotor package.

A maximum flange diameter of 6.61 inches and a 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer are specified for rotor clearance. The illustrated register is 2.88 inches; select the documented centering arrangement and match both axle offset and housing-end bolt pattern.

The installation reference identifies Big Ford Bronco rear applications with 3300-lb axle/11-inch drums for 1966–1975 and the listed 1976–1977 configurations. Verify the actual flange,2.36-inch offset and axle register.
