Red dust-boot calipers provide the service brake while mechanical shoes inside the drilled-and-slotted rotors provide parking operation. This is the Big Ford 2.36-inch-offset configuration, not the New Style 2.50-inch kit. Wilwood Engineering, founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, is based in Camarillo, California. Fitment & Compatibility

Check the housing-end bolt pattern and measure axle offset on the actual axle assembly. Plan the parking-cable adaptation and ensure the wheel clears both the caliper and rotor. The application table includes a 1990 Lincoln Town Car row, but Wilwood identifies this kit by axle flange and offset. Stock Town Car axle compatibility is not established; confirm the actual or custom axle measurements before purchase.

In addition to the bracket pattern and measured offset, inspect the axle flange profile. Its outside diameter may not exceed 6.61 inches and it requires the documented 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer. The instructions show a 2.80-inch axle register with the applicable centering provision.

Inspect shock-to-brake clearance as well as the axle dimensions; the installation instructions note that some shock arrangements may need modification or relocation.

Hydraulic hoses/fittings and parking-brake cables, adapters and cable hardware are not included. Choose a compatible cable arrangement for the internal parking brake; universal cable systems may require vehicle or cable modifications.

Kit may fit some 15" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.
