Wilwood Rear Black Dynapro Dust-Boot Kit, Big Ford Flange, 2.36-Inch Offset and Internal Parking Brake

Black Dynapro dust-boot calipers and plain 12.19-inch rotors replace the service brakes at the specified Big Ford axle ends. A drum-style parking brake sits inside each rotor; the 2.36-inch axle offset is essential to caliper alignment. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems from Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Individual components must be selected for the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the proposed installation, identify the housing flange and measure the 2.36-inch offset. The kit is selected by the axle end, not the rear-end name, and cable hardware is not supplied. The application table includes a 1990 Lincoln Town Car row, but Wilwood identifies this kit by axle flange and offset. Stock Town Car axle compatibility is not established; confirm the actual or custom axle measurements before purchase.

In addition to the bracket pattern and measured offset, inspect the axle flange profile. Its outside diameter may not exceed 6.61 inches and it requires the documented 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer. The instructions show a 2.80-inch axle register with the applicable centering provision.

Inspect shock-to-brake clearance as well as the axle dimensions; the installation instructions note that some shock arrangements may need modification or relocation.

Hydraulic hoses/fittings and parking-brake cables, adapters and cable hardware are not included. Choose a compatible cable arrangement for the internal parking brake; universal cable systems may require vehicle or cable modifications.

Kit may fit some 15" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.
