Wilwood Front Dynapro 6 Hub Brake Kit for Falcon/Ranchero/Comet/Fairlane/Cyclone/Mustang/Caliente/Cougar/Torino/Montego/Maverick (1963–1970), Black Calipers and Plain Rotors

Early Falcon, Ranchero and Comet V8-spindle applications are among the installations covered by this black Dynapro front conversion. Wilwood supplies six-piston calipers, plain 12.19-inch rotor rings and replacement hubs, with a 0.81-inch friction width and BP-10 pads. The kit also covers the later Ford/Mercury drum and disc configurations individually listed below, each subject to its own spindle and production conditions. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. • Disc-spindle preparation may require drilling and re-tapping the bracket-mounting holes. Follow the exact three-hole versus four-hole bracket arrangement and machining procedure for the specified spindle in the installation document.
• Conditional wheel support: if the wheel contact face overhangs the new hub, the separately sold 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel support spacer specified in the linked installation instructions is required. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the spindle actually installed on the vehicle, not just the model on the registration. The early V8-only entries, later disc-brake rows and selected GT350/GT500 applications describe distinct original arrangements. For the relevant 1970 drum-brake entry, verify production through August 24, 1969. Use DS964 to choose the correct bracket-hole pattern and any required machining. Check replacement-hub bearing fit and the 0.09-inch outward wheel change. Select separate hoses for the car and compare the full wheel template before completing hydraulic setup.
