Wilwood Front Red Caliper/Plain-Rotor Package with New Hubs for Bel Air/Biscayne/Caprice/Impala/Brookwood/Corvette/Kingswood/Townsman/Estate (1968–1982)

Plain 12.19-inch rotors and red Dynapro 6 calipers make up this Chevrolet front brake/hub conversion. The six-piston kit supplies replacement hubs and mounting hardware with 1.10-inch-wide friction rings. Correct original spindle identification is essential for the individually listed full-size cars and C3 Corvette; neither the broad year span nor caliper finish establishes compatibility by itself. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the exact vehicle row, including factory drum/disc distinctions and exclusions associated with single-piston power-disc equipment. Inspect spindle and bearing fit before assembling and adjusting the replacement hubs. The wheel mounting surface moves outward 0.28 inch per side, which must be included in tire-clearance checks. Verify spoke and barrel space using the complete wheel drawing. Choose suitable flex lines separately and confirm caliper centering, hose freedom and hydraulic balance before testing the completed installation.
