Black six-piston Dynapro calipers work with drilled/slotted 12.19-inch rotors and replacement hubs in this Wilwood front package. It serves the individually listed later Ford/Mercury drum- and disc-spindle configurations. The kit's bearing, bracket and rotor hardware must match the original spindle, including production-date and factory brake-package differences rather than relying on the vehicle model alone. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

• Disc-spindle preparation may require drilling and re-tapping the bracket-mounting holes. Follow the exact three-hole versus four-hole bracket arrangement and machining procedure for the specified spindle in the installation document.
• Conditional wheel support: if the wheel contact face overhangs the new hub, the separately sold 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel support spacer specified in the linked installation instructions is required. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the actual spindle and observe each application restriction, including early-versus-late 1970 equipment and Mustang GT350/GT500 exclusions. Follow the hub-bearing adjustment and caliper-centering instructions. The wheel mounting surface moves outward 0.09 inch per side, so include that change in tire/fender checks. Some 15-inch wheels may clear only after template verification. Select compatible flex lines separately and confirm steering freedom, pedal travel and the complete front/rear hydraulic relationship.
