Wilwood Front Dynapro 6 Hub Brake Kit for Fairlane/Falcon/Maverick/Mustang/Ranchero/Torino/Cougar/Cyclone/Montego/Comet (1970–1974), Black Calipers and Plain Rotors

This black Dynapro 6 front conversion uses plain 12.19-inch rotors and replacement hubs on the listed Ford and Mercury spindle applications. The six-piston kit includes BP-10 pads and mounting components, with the appropriate original disc or drum spindle retained. Production dates and Shelby-related restrictions matter within the vehicle list; a general 1970s Ford application does not establish the required spindle geometry. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. • Disc-spindle preparation may require drilling and re-tapping the bracket-mounting holes. Follow the exact three-hole versus four-hole bracket arrangement and machining procedure for the specified spindle in the installation document.
• Conditional wheel support: if the wheel contact face overhangs the new hub, the separately sold 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel support spacer specified in the linked installation instructions is required. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the table's disc-versus-drum conditions and the August 25, 1969 production boundary where shown. Some Mustang entries exclude GT350/GT500 equipment. Inspect spindle and bearing seating before assembling the new hubs. Allow for the published outward wheel-mounting change of 0.09 inch per side, and compare the wheel with the full template. Hoses are selected separately; use the correct vehicle fittings and clearance through steering movement before checking brake balance.
