Wilwood Drilled 12.19-Inch Front Brake/Hub Kit, Black Dynapro Calipers, Listed GM/Isuzu Cars and 2WD Trucks (1978–2003)

Drilled/slotted rotors and separate replacement hubs are paired with black Dynapro 6 calipers in this Wilwood front conversion. Its 12.19-inch brake assembly serves only the car and two-wheel-drive truck configurations individually identified in the application table. The supplied rotor and hub mounting parts establish the conversion geometry on the appropriate factory disc spindle; the hydraulic hoses are not part of this kit. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

• Required spindle preparation: substantial steering-arm/spindle modification includes drilling, tapping and removal of interfering ears. Follow the exact installation drawing; Wilwood recommends a qualified machine shop.
• Conditional wheel support: if the wheel contact face overhangs the new hub, the separately sold 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel support spacer specified in the linked installation instructions is required. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the vehicle's actual spindle and check whether its row requires rear drums or rear discs. Passenger-car coverage also contains rear-wheel-drive restrictions, which must not be overlooked. Check bearing adjustment and caliper centering with the installed rotor before evaluating pedal travel. Some 15-inch wheels may clear, but approval depends on the full wheel drawing. Select separate flex lines that connect correctly and remain free throughout steering movement. Match the front conversion to the complete hydraulic system and rear braking hardware.
