Wilwood Front Dynapro 6 Brake and Hub Conversion for Listed GM/Isuzu 2WD Applications (1978–2003), Black Calipers, Plain 12.19-Inch Rotors

This Wilwood front package uses black Dynapro six-piston calipers, plain 12.19-inch rotors and replacement hubs on the individually listed GM and Isuzu applications. The broad vehicle coverage includes passenger cars and two-wheel-drive compact trucks with different year and brake-equipment conditions. The original compatible disc spindle remains in service, so a model name alone does not identify the correct installation. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

• Required spindle preparation: substantial steering-arm/spindle modification includes drilling, tapping and removal of interfering ears. Follow the exact installation drawing; Wilwood recommends a qualified machine shop.
• Conditional wheel support: if the wheel contact face overhangs the new hub, the separately sold 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel support spacer specified in the linked installation instructions is required. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Consult the individual application row for rear drum or disc equipment, rear-wheel drive and two-wheel-drive restrictions. A four-wheel-drive truck must not be selected from a shared S10, Jimmy or related name. Confirm spindle bearing dimensions and the installation drawing before assembling the hubs. Wilwood lists no wheel-mounting offset change for this package, but wheel spoke shape still needs a template check. Flex lines are separate; choose the correct vehicle fittings and length, then verify steering clearance and rear-brake balance.
