Plain friction faces distinguish this red-caliper Wilwood front hub kit from the drilled version. It combines six-piston Dynapro calipers with 12.19-inch iron rotors and replacement hubs for the compatible GM disc-spindle applications. Installation requires the specified 11-inch-rotor spindle and its documented modification. The kit supplies the brake and hub hardware, while vehicle-specific hydraulic lines remain a separate selection. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. • Conditional wheel support: if the wheel contact face overhangs the new hub, the separately sold 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel support spacer specified in the linked installation instructions is required. Check full seating before assembly. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, Wilwood recommends a separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield.

Fitment & Compatibility

Inspect the actual upright and compare it with the manufacturer's preparation instructions before ordering. The application list includes multiple GM makes, but it does not authorize substituting a drum spindle or an unrelated disc spindle. Allow for the published inward wheel movement of 0.10 inch on each side when considering fender and suspension clearance. Check the complete wheel drawing rather than assuming any 15-inch rim fits. Adjust bearings, align calipers and route the selected hoses as specified before verifying the complete hydraulic setup.
