Wilwood Black Superlite 6R Front Disc Kit, 14-Inch SRP, Ford/Mercury Comet/Falcon/Ranchero/Mustang/Fairlane/Cyclone/Caliente/Torino/Cougar/Montego (1963–1969)

Wilwood's drilled/slotted 14-inch front package supplies black Superlite 6R calipers, replacement hubs and separate rotor hats. It is intended for the listed Ford/Mercury V8 spindle configurations, with the 72-vane Spec-37 rings and BP-10 pads forming the selected braking combination. Year-specific original brake equipment remains necessary when comparing the Mustang and other model applications. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the physical spindle and bearing arrangement to DS929. Original 1965–1967 Mustang V8 disc/drum and 1968–1969 drum spindles have different application conditions. Allow for the 0.25-inch outward wheel shift on each side, then check the full 18-inch screening envelope against the actual rim. Select hydraulic hoses for the vehicle and production year, and review master-cylinder/pushrod geometry before establishing front/rear brake balance.
