Wilwood Plain 12.19-Inch Front Brakes for Jeep CJ5/CJ7/Scrambler (1982–1986), Red Superlite Conversion

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm whether the vehicle is the listed CJ5, CJ7 or Scrambler configuration, then compare its actual hub and spindle with DS926. Replaced axles can change the hub interface despite a matching vehicle year. The separate hat needs correct register seating and the five-on-five-and-a-half-inch wheel pattern. Follow the hub preparation and bearing-adjustment sequence, installing the separately sourced new OE grease seal where directed. Red calipers and plain 12.19-inch rings still need the entire wheel outline checked, including spoke depth near the bridge. Select hoses for the real steering range, lift height and suspension travel, and establish hydraulic balance with the rear brakes before the conversion is tested.
