Wilwood Black SRP Front Disc Conversion for Jeep CJ5/CJ7/Scrambler (1982–1986), Superlite 4R

Wilwood supplies black radial calipers and drilled/slotted 12.19-inch rotors in this front kit for the stated Jeep CJ hub configuration. The four-piston Superlite calipers use BP-10 pads with 1.10-inch-thick vented rings. Separate hats retain the correct original hubs, so the conversion must be selected from the actual installed axle hardware and the individual model-year entry. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

DS926 is the reference for hub preparation, bearing adjustment and bracket fit. Compare the CJ5, CJ7 or Scrambler application with the installed spindle and stud pattern before ordering. Hoses and the specified new OE grease seal are separate. Check wheel spoke depth as well as the 16-inch screening diameter, and allow sufficient hydraulic hose travel for any lift or suspension articulation before testing the converted brakes.
