Wilwood pairs red Superlite 4R calipers with plain-face 12.19-inch rotors in this front kit for the stated Jeep hub/spindle applications. The package retains the correctly configured original hubs and uses separate hats and radial brackets. Later YJ/TJ fitment depends on a conversion to 1987–1989 YJ hubs and spindles, which must be completed before the kit can be installed. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. Fitment & Compatibility

Compare hub and spindle dimensions with DS922 before dismantling the brakes. A later-model hub is not interchangeable with the required early-YJ assembly. Follow the dust-shield modification and verify wheel spoke clearance around the caliper. Hydraulic hoses are separate, with length and routing suited to suspension travel and steering movement. Confirm the particular Cherokee, Wagoneer, Comanche or Wrangler application instead of treating the year span as universal.
