Wilwood Black Superlite 4R Front Kit for Jeep Cherokee/Wagoneer/Comanche/Wrangler/TJ Series (1984–2006), 12.19-Inch Plain Rotors

This Wilwood front kit uses black four-piston Superlite calipers and plain 12.19-inch rotors with the specified early Jeep hub/spindle arrangement. The application includes listed Cherokee, Wagoneer, Comanche and Wrangler configurations; later YJ/TJ vehicles require conversion to 1987–1989 YJ spindles and hubs. It does not fit later-model hubs simply because the Jeep appears within the broader model range. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the installed hubs and spindle with DS922, not only the vehicle year. For 1990–2006 YJ/TJ installations, the early YJ hub/spindle conversion is mandatory. The dust shield needs the modification shown in the instructions. Select hydraulic hoses for the actual chassis and suspension travel, and check the 16-inch screening outline against the wheel's barrel and spokes before confirming front/rear system balance.
