Red four-piston calipers and drilled/slotted 10.75-inch rotors identify this Wilwood conversion for the listed six-cylinder Ford/Mercury front spindles. Supplied replacement hubs retain a four-lug wheel layout, with brackets matched to that smaller original spindle. This package must not be assumed compatible with a V8 spindle simply because the car shares the same model and production year. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

• The original 14-inch four-lug steel wheel requires the supplied wheel spacer for clearance; the wheel drawing includes that spacer installed.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use DS921 to compare the installed spindle, bearings and bracket points. The wheel mounting face moves outward 0.92 inches per side, requiring a careful tire/fender clearance assessment before choosing the conversion. Verify the actual wheel's caliper clearance rather than relying solely on the 14-inch screening size. Hydraulic hoses remain separate, and the master cylinder and rear brakes must be evaluated as a complete system.
