This Wilwood conversion brings red Dynalite calipers and 12.19-inch SRP rotor rings to the stated early Chevrolet front spindles. Replacement hubs and brackets position the four-piston calipers and vented rotors as a matched assembly. The application includes specific full-size Chevrolet and early Corvette configurations; inspect the existing spindle if earlier modifications have altered the factory hardware. • For stamped steel wheels whose contact area does not overhang the hub, Wilwood recommends the separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield to protect the hub face; this is distinct from the required overhang-support spacer.

Fitment & Compatibility

For a Sedan Delivery or El Camino, the application is 1959–1960; Brookwood, Kingswood, Nomad and Parkwood coverage ends at 1961. The listed Corvette installation is 1963–1964, while the other passenger-car rows need their own production check. Compare the physical spindle with DS897 before choosing this red-caliper SRP conversion. Four-piston calipers and 12.19-inch rings are supported by replacement hubs, so inspect bearing seating and select the appropriate five-lug pattern. Each wheel mounting face moves outward 0.27 inches, with wheel-support requirements checked separately from the brake envelope. Hoses are ordered to suit the actual vehicle and suspension movement. After alignment and runout checks, establish sufficient master-cylinder displacement and pedal travel with the rear brakes still installed.
