Wilwood's 12.19-inch front kit supplies black Dynalite calipers and plain-face vented rotors for the listed early Chevrolet spindle applications. Replacement hubs support the rotor rings and dedicated brackets locate the four-piston calipers. This package is larger in diameter than the 11-inch conversion and requires its own wheel-clearance check, including the specified early Corvette fitments. • For stamped steel wheels whose contact area does not overhang the hub, Wilwood recommends the separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield to protect the hub face; this is distinct from the required overhang-support spacer.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the model-specific production range rather than extending the overall title dates to every Chevrolet. Bel Air, Biscayne and Impala entries run 1959–1964, while Brookwood, Kingswood, Nomad and Parkwood end at 1961; El Camino and Sedan Delivery are 1959–1960, and Corvette is 1963–1964. Inspect the original spindle and compare the bearings and caliper bracket with DS897 before selecting the black plain-rotor package. The 12.19-inch rotor needs its own wheel-envelope check. The hub offers the selected five-lug pattern and moves the mounting face outward 0.27 inches per side. Confirm wheel-face support separately from spoke clearance. Choose hydraulic hoses by the actual steering and suspension movement, then verify suitable pedal travel, master-cylinder capacity and brake balance with the retained rear brakes.
