Product details

This Wilwood rear conversion uses red Superlite 4R calipers with 14-inch GT slotted rotors for the specified Strange Engineering floater axle. Separate hats and internal parking shoes provide the rotor mounting and mechanical parking function. The larger rings require verified wheel clearance, while the 3.49-inch offset must match the wheel-side axle flange measurement. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Read the dimensional requirements in DS895 and compare every mounting dimension with the installed floater. Confirm bracket seating and the rotor-hat interface before checking caliper alignment. Select hydraulic hoses and parking cables for the chassis rather than treating either as supplied. An 18-inch wheel is only a starting screening dimension; spoke contour and brake-envelope depth must be checked with the actual clearance drawing.
