Product details

This Wilwood rear conversion uses drilled/slotted 12.88-inch Spec-37 rotors with black Superlite 4R calipers. The Strange Engineering floater application requires 3.49-inch axle offset, and the supplied internal shoes provide a separate mechanical parking brake. Its 48-vane rotor rings, hats and brackets form a matched assembly rather than a universal rear brake package. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the housing bolt spacing and register as well as the wheel-side flange offset. DS894 shows the bracket/backing-plate relationship and required wheel envelope. Confirm the floater hub interface before checking caliper alignment and rotor runout. Select suitable hydraulic hoses separately and plan parking-cable attachments without tight bends or interference through suspension movement. The wheel's spoke profile remains a separate clearance check.
