This Wilwood Classic Series front kit converts the specified 1941–1956 Buick drum-spindle applications to four-piston Dynalite brakes. Plain-face 11.88-inch iron hub/rotor assemblies retain the traditional spindle layout while providing the mounting for the supplied calipers and brackets. The one-piece hub/rotor arrangement is part of the conversion, rather than a separate replacement aluminum-hub package. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the car's exact series and production year with the application rows, then inspect spindle and bearing geometry against DS892. Confirm the five-on-five-inch wheel pattern and full wheel profile. Hydraulic hoses are separate, and the master-cylinder/pedal arrangement should be reviewed for disc-brake volume and balance. Adjust the supplied bearing components according to the installation instructions before checking rotor runout and caliper alignment.
