Wilwood Red Superlite 6R Front Disc Package, Chevrolet Bel Air/Nomad/One-Fifty Series/Sedan Delivery/Two-Ten Series/Del Ray (1955–1957), SRP Drop-Spindle Kit

This Wilwood front conversion supplies red Superlite 6R calipers and 12.88-inch drilled/slotted rotors for the stated Chevrolet drop-spindle combinations. Replacement hubs, hats and radial brackets support the six-piston brake assembly. Its configuration is selected for the aftermarket spindle; retaining an original Chevrolet drum spindle would require a different kit. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the exact Heidts, Ridetech or CPP option in the fitment entries and compare it with the installed hardware. Use DS876 to establish wheel clearance and assembly dimensions before the old brakes are removed. Confirm the correct hub bolt circle and bearing fit. Choose hoses with adequate steering and suspension movement, and check hydraulic displacement and front/rear balance for the converted brake system.
