Wilwood Red Front Hub Brake Kit for Chevrolet Bel Air/Nomad/One-Fifty Series/Sedan Delivery/Two-Ten Series/Del Ray (1955–1957), Drilled/Slotted, Drop Spindle

Red Dynalite calipers and SRP rotors are supplied in this Wilwood front conversion for the stated Tri-Five Chevrolet drop-spindle combinations. The 12.19-inch vented rings attach to the supplied hub arrangement, with four-piston calipers supported by dedicated mounting brackets. Check the spindle already fitted to the car rather than selecting the kit by its model name alone. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

• Wheel-contact support requirement: if the wheel contact surface overhangs the hub face, use the specified 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel spacer between hub and wheel. The spacer is sold separately.
• For stamped steel wheels whose contact area does not overhang the hub, Wilwood recommends the separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield to protect the hub face; this is distinct from the required overhang-support spacer.

Fitment & Compatibility

Original Chevrolet spindles are excluded from this package. The fitment entries identify particular Heidts, Ridetech and CPP alternatives, so verify the spindle maker and geometry before ordering. DS875 provides the assembly and wheel outline. Choose the correct hub pattern, inspect bearing fit and arrange hydraulic hoses separately. Master-cylinder mounting and brake balance should be reviewed when converting an otherwise original drum-brake car.
