Wilwood's black Dynalite front kit is for the specified 1955–1957 Chevrolet drop-spindle installations. Plain-face 12.19-inch rotors and replacement hubs mount with four-piston calipers and dedicated brackets. The application entries distinguish Heidts, Ridetech and CPP spindle options; stock Chevrolet spindles are excluded, even when the car's model and year are otherwise listed. • For stamped steel wheels whose contact area does not overhang the hub, Wilwood recommends the separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield to protect the hub face; this is distinct from the required overhang-support spacer.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the installed drop-spindle manufacturer and part configuration to the application row before selecting this kit. DS875 covers the Heidts Tri-5 arrangement and expressly excludes original 1955–1957 spindles. Confirm hub bearings, selected lug pattern and caliper clearance within the wheel. Hydraulic lines are separate; choose length and fittings for suspension travel and steering lock, then assess master-cylinder requirements for the disc conversion.
