Wilwood Black 72-Vane GT Front Brakes, 14-Inch Superlite Hub Conversion for GM G-Body/S-Series/Isuzu Hombre (1978–2003)

This 14-inch Wilwood front package uses black Superlite 6R calipers and GT slotted Spec-37 iron rotors with 72 curved vanes. Replacement hubs and separate hats carry the larger rotor assembly on the specified original disc spindles. The conversion is intended for the listed chassis configurations after the steering-arm/spindle modifications have been completed. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the rotor/caliper outline with the chosen 18-inch or larger wheel; nominal diameter cannot guarantee spoke clearance. DS879 details the required drilling, tapping and casting removal on both spindles. Allow for the outward 0.10-inch wheel-mounting change when checking tire position. Compact-truck entries require their stated drivetrain and brake configuration, and suitable hydraulic hoses must be planned separately from the supplied hub and brake hardware.
