Product details

Wilwood's red Superlite 6R front conversion combines six-piston calipers with 12.88-inch SRP rotors for the specified factory-disc-spindle chassis. Separate aluminum hats attach the friction rings to replacement hubs, with the hardware selected for that spindle family. The installation adds 0.10 inches to wheel position on each side and requires more than a simple caliper exchange. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Assess the existing casting before machining its bracket attachment points. DS878 calls for drilling/tapping and removal of interfering factory caliper ears, performed by a qualified shop. Use the individual application entries to confirm rear-drive or two-wheel-drive truck requirements. The rotor and caliper need barrel and spoke clearance, so check the drawing with the chosen wheel and verify lug engagement after fitting the new hubs.
