Product details

Red powder-coated Dynalite calipers identify this drilled/slotted Wilwood front hub kit. It converts the specified factory-disc-spindle arrangement to four-piston calipers and 12.19-inch rotors while replacing the wheel hubs. Vehicle names alone are insufficient: the compact-truck rows include rear-drive or two-wheel-drive restrictions and brake-package conditions. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

  • Conditional wheel screening size: 15 inches. Use the installation clearance diagram to verify the actual barrel and spoke profile.
  • Wheel-contact support requirement: if the wheel contact surface overhangs the hub face, use the specified 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel spacer between hub and wheel. The spacer is sold separately.
  • For stamped steel wheels whose contact area does not overhang the hub, Wilwood recommends the separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield to protect the hub face; this is distinct from the required overhang-support spacer.

Fitment & Compatibility

Have a qualified machine shop inspect and modify the spindle using the bracket and dimensions in DS877. This work includes new threaded mounting holes and clearance cuts, with suitable mounting faces preserved. After selecting the correct five-lug pattern, confirm wheel contact and stud length. Some 15-inch wheels may clear, but the actual spoke and barrel envelope must be checked against the drawing rather than inferred from wheel diameter.
