Product details

This Wilwood front conversion supplies SRP drilled/slotted friction rings, black Dynalite calipers and replacement hubs for the listed GM and Isuzu applications. Its 12.19-inch rotor diameter is paired with a 0.81-inch thickness. The hub and bracket arrangement is designed around the specified original disc spindle, which requires preparation described in the assembly instructions. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

  • Wheel-contact support requirement: if the wheel contact surface overhangs the hub face, use the specified 6.60-inch-diameter × 0.20-inch-thick steel spacer between hub and wheel. The spacer is sold separately.
  • For stamped steel wheels whose contact area does not overhang the hub, Wilwood recommends the separate 6.15-inch-diameter × 0.09-inch-thick hub shield to protect the hub face; this is distinct from the required overhang-support spacer.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the spindle casting with DS877 before committing to the conversion. Machining the mounting points and removing obstructing ears must be completed accurately on both sides. Truck rows carry drivetrain and rear-brake qualifications that need checking individually. Assess wheel spoke shape as well as diameter, and choose hydraulic hoses that remain clear through steering lock and suspension travel. Master-cylinder suitability depends on the completed front/rear system.
