This Wilwood front conversion replaces the drum-spindle brake hardware on the listed 1962–1972 Dodge and Plymouth B/E-body applications. Black Forged Narrow Superlite 6R calipers work with one-piece 12.88-inch slotted rotor/hat assemblies and replacement hubs. The original drum spindle remains, so identifying its year and configuration is essential before selecting the package. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the spindle and wheel pattern before removing the original brakes. This package moves the wheel mounting face outward 0.13 inches per side and uses the matching hub bearings and mounting brackets. Compare barrel radius and spoke depth with DS872; nominal 17-inch wheel diameter alone cannot establish clearance. Arrange suitable hydraulic hoses separately and confirm master-cylinder mounting and displacement for the complete system.
