This Wilwood front kit uses black six-piston Superlite calipers and GT slotted 12.88-inch rotors on replacement hubs. The mounting arrangement serves the documented later GM disc-spindle applications with BP-10 pads and the appropriate brackets supplied. The complete 1979–1990 span applies only across the individual models and their stated year ranges. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. Fitment & Compatibility

Verify the installed upright belongs to the later GM disc-spindle arrangement shown in DS871. The application list distinguishes each model's year range and the original rotor-spindle option; it does not grant universal fit across the overall year span. Prepare the specified drilled/tapped bracket holes and remove the interfering caliper ears through a qualified machine shop. Check the hub bearings and spindle journals before assembly. Compare the published wheel mounting shift to fender space, then verify wheel bolt circle and full contact seating. Choose flexible hydraulic lines for the actual chassis and inspect their travel at steering lock. Use the full conditional 17-inch template around the black caliper, followed by bearing adjustment and rotor/caliper alignment checks.
