Red six-piston Superlite calipers distinguish this Wilwood front conversion for the stated Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat spindle applications. The 12.88-inch drilled/slotted rotors mount with replacement five-lug hubs, and BP-10 pads are supplied. The kit changes the rotor/hub package while retaining only the matching front spindles. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm the exact Ford Mustang II, Pinto or Mercury Bobcat year and inspect the disc spindle before purchase. DS868 defines the five-lug conversion; these hubs support the two stated bolt circles and cannot retain an original four-lug wheel. Check the bearing journals and mounting bracket points, especially where the suspension has been transferred to a different chassis. The new outward mounting offset affects track and fender space, independently of spoke clearance. Select the flex lines for the actual chassis connections and steering movement, keeping the hoses clear of the rotor. Measure the entire wheel section using the conditional 17-inch profile. Center the calipers over the rings and verify bearing adjustment before testing the converted front brakes.
