Wilwood Front Superlite Brake Kit for Ford Mustang II/Pinto and Mercury Bobcat (1974–1980), Black Calipers and 12.88-Inch GT Rotors, Five-Lug Hubs

This Wilwood Challenge Series front kit converts the specified Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat disc-spindle layout to six-piston Superlite calipers and 12.88-inch GT rotors. Black calipers, BP-10 pads and replacement hubs are supplied. The hub package supports five-lug wheels rather than retaining a four-lug wheel pattern. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm each model's individual year coverage: Mustang II, Pinto and Bobcat do not share the same complete production span. DS868 specifies the matching disc-spindle configuration and only 5 × 4.50 or 5 × 4.75 wheel patterns. The outward hub-offset change must suit the fenders and wheel offset. Check any aftermarket drop-spindle variation directly. Flex hoses are separate, and the conditional 17-inch wheel minimum requires the full caliper profile, including clearance behind the spokes.
