Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the fitted rear end to the New Style flange illustration in DS861. The bearing-retention arrangement must agree with the brackets, and the axle register and offset must center the drilled/slotted rotor correctly. Confirm the 1990 Lincoln Town Car application with Wilwood after taking those measurements; do not infer an original-axle fit. Inspect the wheel studs and check that the rotor hat seats fully against the flange. Provide a separate parking-cable system with a restrained, low-friction route and enough release travel, as well as compatible hydraulic hoses. Adjust the shoes inside the hat and inspect shock clearance. A wheel must clear the full conditional 16-inch profile; some 15-inch designs may fit only when measured against it.
