Wilwood Rear SRP Conversion with Black D154 Calipers, Big Ford 2.36-Inch Axle Offset; Lincoln Town Car (1990) With Matching Axle

Black floating D154 calipers clamp drilled/slotted 12.19-inch rotors in this Wilwood Big Ford rear conversion. Parking shoes inside the rotor hats provide mechanical holding separately from the hydraulic calipers. This kit requires a 2.36-inch offset and matching bearing/flange layout, including for the conditional 1990 Town Car entry. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. Fitment & Compatibility

Inspect the rear end as an assembly of housing flange, retained bearing, axle register and wheel studs. Match it to DS858 and the worksheet; an axle's brand name does not establish its measured offset. Obtain confirmation of the listed Lincoln Town Car application from Wilwood before choosing the package. Check the rotor/hat envelope over the axle flange and locate the parking-brake bracket without suspension interference. Its mechanical cable needs a restrained route that allows the shoes to release, while the hydraulic hoses need room for suspension travel. Neither connection is supplied as a vehicle-specific system here. The conditional 16-inch wheel profile is the clearance reference, and a proposed 15-inch wheel must pass the same full section check.
