Fitment & Compatibility

First identify the housing-end flange and bearing arrangement using DS858, then measure the installed axle offset. Big Ford is a specific flange family, not a promise of fit for a Lincoln vehicle. The preserved Town Car year must be confirmed with Wilwood for the actual rear end before ordering. Inspect the axle flange for the hat's required clearance and verify the wheel-stud diameter. The bracket and parking-shoe assembly also needs space around the shocks; check that envelope before arranging the cable route. Supply the hydraulic hoses and parking linkage independently. When adjusting the parking shoes, follow the slight-drag procedure and establish full release. Compare the proposed wheel to the conditional 16-inch section, including any 15-inch design being considered.
