Product details

This red Wilwood front caliper kit is the 0.81-inch-wide rotor-width version of the twin-piston D154 arrangement. Two 1.62-inch stainless pistons operate in each floating caliper, with BP-10 pads and hardened slide pins included. It supplies the caliper-side components for a matching existing or engineered metric-mount brake system. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Establish the rotor thickness and bracket geometry directly, then review DS843 for assembly. A D154 pad outline does not distinguish narrow and wide rotor configurations by itself. Confirm the selected piston area suits the master cylinder and rear brakes. The caliper uses an M10 × 1.50 banjo inlet, so inspect the hose end, sealing washers and routing. Separate serviceable rotors are required; check wheel clearance and the sliding mechanism before bleeding and controlled brake testing.
