Wilwood Front Drilled/Slotted 12.19-Inch Brake/Hub Kit, Chevrolet Corvette/Impala/Bel Air/Caprice/Biscayne/Brookwood/Estate/Townsman/Kingswood 1968–1982

Black four-piston calipers, drilled/slotted SRP rotors and replacement hubs form this Wilwood front Chevrolet package. The 12.19-inch vented rings work with supplied BP-10 pads on Dynalite calipers. Installation is governed by the original spindle type, not by the size or appearance of a previously installed aftermarket rotor. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

• Hydraulic flex lines are separate. Master cylinder, booster and spindles are not included; retain or select suitable matching components.
• Conditional minimum wheel diameter: 15 inches. Verify the complete clearance drawing for barrel and spoke offset before purchase.
• Wheel seating: the specified support spacer is required when the wheel contact face overhangs the hub. The support spacer is sold separately for this kit. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, use the specified hub shield, obtained separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the upright by the original Chevrolet front brake arrangement and the table's precise year entry. DS833 is the guide for this drilled/slotted package; a drum spindle from another generation must not be substituted merely because the model badge matches. Inspect the wheel's load-bearing contact surface and order the separate specified support spacer if that surface extends beyond the new hub. Stamped steel wheels that sit within the hub face need the specified shield. Check both the new outward wheel position and the actual five-lug circle. Choose compatible hose fittings and sufficient flexline length for steering lock, then measure the full conditional 15-inch caliper section. Caliper centering and bearing adjustment must be established independently of wheel spacers.
