Wilwood Front Black Dynalite/Plain 11-Inch Rotor and Hub Kit, Chevrolet Corvette/Bel Air/Biscayne/Caprice/Impala/Brookwood/Estate/Kingswood/Townsman (1968–1982)

This Wilwood 11-inch front brake and hub conversion serves the specified full-size Chevrolet and C3 Corvette spindle applications. Black Dynalite calipers work with plain vented rotors and BP-10 pads. New hubs and bearings replace the original hub/rotor arrangement, with brackets selected for the documented spindle family. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. • Replacement hubs: Hub - Vented Rotor Offset; Aluminum; Bare. Bearings and hub hardware are specified in the installation instructions.
• Wheel bolt circles: 5 x 4.50; 5 x 4.75 inches.
• Included: paired calipers, pads, rotors, brackets and assembly hardware, replacement hubs and bearings.
• Hydraulic flex lines are separate. Master cylinder, booster and spindles are not included; retain or select suitable matching components.
• Conditional minimum wheel diameter: 14 inches. Verify the complete clearance drawing for barrel and spoke offset before purchase.
• Wheel seating: the specified support spacer is required when the wheel contact face overhangs the hub. The support spacer is included with this kit. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, use the specified hub shield, obtained separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

The fitment years and original front brake configuration are decisive: the full-size disc-spindle and drum-spindle entries cover different production years, while Corvette coverage runs through the stated C3 years. Check DS832 before choosing the kit for a previously modified car. The published outward hub offset affects wheel placement. A conditional 14-inch wheel still needs the full profile and the correct support at its contact face. Hydraulic flex lines are not included; select compatible hoses and fittings separately.
