Wilwood Front SRP 12.19-Inch Rotor/Hub Package, Black Calipers, Chevrolet Caprice/Impala/Biscayne/Bel Air 1965–1968

Black Dynalite calipers and drilled/slotted 12.19-inch SRP rotors form this Wilwood full-size Chevrolet front conversion. New hubs and bearing components replace the original drum-hub arrangement, with BP-10 pads and application brackets included. The kit uses vented iron friction rings rather than thin drag-race steel rotors. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

• Hydraulic flex lines are separate. Master cylinder, booster and spindles are not included; retain or select suitable matching components.
• Conditional minimum wheel diameter: 15 inches. Verify the complete clearance drawing for barrel and spoke offset before purchase.
• Wheel seating: the specified support spacer is required when the wheel contact face overhangs the hub. The support spacer is sold separately for this kit. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, use the specified hub shield, obtained separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

Inspect the original front spindles and match the car to the individual table entry. DS831 details the bracket fit, equal caliper shimming and the wheel spacer condition. Keep the published per-side hub offset in mind when checking fender clearance and steering movement. A 15-inch wheel must still clear the caliper throughout its profile. Select the appropriate hydraulic lines and chassis fittings in addition to the kit and check full-lock hose clearance before testing. The selected rotor and current component specification give 1.10-inch width, but the linked PDF clearance figure labels 0.81 inch. Obtain the correct clearance drawing from Wilwood before final wheel selection.
